OLED lighting attracts attention, and the future of the industry can be expected
In recent years, the OLED lighting industry has developed rapidly and OLED lighting has become another revolution in lighting sources following incandescent and fluorescent lamps. The basic principle of OLED lighting is driven by an electric field, through carrier injection and recombination, to excite organic materials to emit light, thereby achieving lighting. Compared with the traditional incandescent, fluorescent, energy-saving lamps, OLED lighting in the following two advantages are very prominent. One is energy-saving effect. Under the same lighting conditions, OLED lighting consumes only 16% of incandescent lamps and 50% of energy-saving lamps, which is equivalent to high-quality LEDs. On the other hand, there is no pollution during production and use. In the manufacturing process, OLED lighting does not use heavy metals such as mercury and has a negative impact on the environment.
OLED lighting technology received extensive attention and its application range gradually expanded
OLED lighting has attracted more and more attention as a highly efficient and energy-saving light source technology. The major developed countries in the United States, the European Union, Japan, and South Korea continue to launch large-scale OLED lighting research and development programs. Major companies, R&D institutions and universities participate in this project. In the R&D and promotion of technology, it strives to occupy an advantageous position in the future OLED lighting industry.
In the global lighting products exhibition in the past two years, major manufacturers have adopted OLED lighting as their highlights. Since the second half of 2011, NEC, Konica Minolta, Toshiba, Panasonic (Panasonic OLED lighting) and others The factory has successively exhibited samples of OLED lighting at various exhibitions, and even some manufacturers have announced plans for future products. In January 2012, at the LIGHTING JAPAN, several companies have started to sell OLED lighting products. In mid-April in Frankfurt, Germany, the international lighting exhibition and construction technology exhibition (Light+Building 2012), the German company Novaled, the Dutch company Philips, the Japanese companies Mitsubishi Chemical, Sumitomo Chemical, etc. showed their OLED lighting concept products.
The German company Novaled is an important force in the field of OLED technology and luminescent materials. It is mainly dedicated to reducing energy consumption and extending its service life. In September 2011, Samsung Venture Capital Corporation (SVIC) became a share in Novaled. Samsung's investment has strengthened Novaled's technology and OLED special materials on the one hand, and on the other, it has helped consolidate Samsung's position in OLED lighting. Currently, Novaled has marketed its own brand of OLED lighting equipment under its Liternity brand. The OLED lighting fixture exhibited in Frankfurt is a table lamp called Victory. The price is as high as 4,900 euros. Dimensions 350mm*400mm*200mm. Power consumption is 16W. The illuminance is 400 Lx at the desktop and the luminous flux is 120 lm. The average color rendering index (Ra) is about 80, and the color temperature is 3200K. Victory is equipped with four OLED panels made by Novaled. The area of each panel is 41cm2; the thickness is 1.7mm. The luminous efficiency is 14 lm/W. The panel is configured as a Bottom Emitting type. Life is 10,000 hours.
OLED lighting technology has also received extensive attention in the country, including universities and research institutes in Tsinghua University, Suzhou University, South China University of Technology, and Changchun Optical Engine Co. Among them, Yu Rui (Shanghai) Chemical Co., Ltd. is a representative company and has in-depth cooperation with Korea LG.
On January 16, 2018, UIV CHEM joined hands with LG Heavy Gold to create an OLED lighting showroom. The new generation of healthy and stylish OLED lighting that subverts LED technology entered Shanghai to demonstrate the application of OLED lighting technology. UIV CHEM OLED Lighting Hall is more than 160 square meters. It fully utilizes OLED panels that are ultra-thin, flexible, light source, uniform, no heat, no glare, no ultraviolet rays, no blue light hazard, high visibility, very close sunlight and many other Human- The characteristic of Friendly adds new vitality to the modern style. Whether it is a simple track lighting solution or a transparent solution for embedded furniture, all panel application solutions are presented in the exhibition hall. The entire exhibition hall follows the modern and simple design concept of black-and-white ash base color. The fusion of marble texture, steel and mirrors are skillfully used to create a warm and luxurious space atmosphere with lights. The opening of the Shanghai showroom of UIV CHEM OLED lighting has strengthened the application development of OLED lighting in the Chinese market, aiming to make it a foothold in the Chinese market, serving more architectural designers and consumer customers, allowing more people to experience OLED lighting brings a healthy and beautiful life.
